Pearl Modine (they/she), was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.

They are currently an MFA candidate in Costume Production at The Pennsylvania State University and is dedicated to learning as much as possible from their faculty throughout the three year program.

​

 “I have always been drawn to sewing and love the creative problem solving and puzzles that come with each new garment!”

​

In 2023, Pearl graduated from the University of New Mexico, with a BFA in Costume Design and Technology for Performance.

Professionally they have stitched at The Opera Theatre of St. Louis and The Santa Fe Opera.

Pearl also worked as a draper at The University of New Mexico and briefly as a first hand at The University of Texas in Austin.

 

Pearl is currently looking to gain experience in teaching sewing, team management, pattern development, and complex fitting.​
